Read the temperature band: it sits at 24° to 26° from December to February and climbs to 41° in July and August. The rain line stays near zero all year, and from May to October there is nothing to see. For a single month, the Dubai page is faster.

Which months can you work and walk outside?

November to March. A day in this window is warm rather than hot, so a terrace desk or a walk after lunch is realistic, and it is the stretch most people mean by "best time" for Dubai. Highs are 31° in November, 26° in December, 24° in January, 25° in February and 29° in March, and the lows are 15° to 21°.

Within the window, choose deliberately for a stay of four weeks or more. January is the coolest. November has the clearest sky, at about 17 percent cloud against 25 to 31 percent from December to March. February and March are the wettest at 18 mm each. If you want the warm end of mild, take November or March; if you want the coolest, January.

What about October and April?

Hot, but not summer. October has a high of 35° and a low of 25°, April 33° and 21°. In both months the mornings and evenings are the usable part of the day. They suit a month where you work indoors with air conditioning and go out after dark. They are not the months to plan long daytime outings.

Read the high and the low together. In January a low of 15° means a light layer after dark; in July a low of 30° means the evening is as hot as an afternoon in many places on our list.

How hot is the summer, really?

From June to September every month has a high of 39° to 41°, and the nights barely cool: 28° in June and September, 30° in July and August. That is the part a high-only chart hides. There is no relief after sunset, so a month here from June to September is an indoor month by design.

May is the lead-in, with a 37° high and a 25° low. Humidity in the summer is 54 to 60 percent, no higher than in winter, but the temperature makes it hard to be outside, so do not read the humidity number alone.

How does the weather shape a working day?

In the cool months the whole day is usable. In the shoulders and the summer it splits in three: a short outdoor window early, a long indoor middle, and an evening that is warm rather than cool. That changes what you should ask a landlord or a coworking space. Check that the air conditioning is strong enough for a laptop-heavy day, that the building has shaded parking or a covered walk, and that your bills are not capped in a way that punishes July.

Rain hardly ever interrupts a day, so you do not plan around it. The two things that change from month to month are how early you must be out in the morning and how late you can sit on a balcony in the evening. Both are easy at 24° in January and close to impossible at 41° in August.

Who should go when?

If you are comparing warm places for the winter, see where is warm in January, in December and at Christmas and New Year, where Dubai sits against the beach destinations. This page covers weather only, not sea temperature, prices, flights or visas.

How sure are these numbers?

They are month-of-year averages for one point in the city, from stored climate data (Open-Meteo archive and CHIRPS rain totals, 2015 to 2025). A single year can be hotter, cooler or wetter: on 16 April 2024 a storm brought Dubai more than a normal year's rain in one day and flooded the city, and an average smooths an event like that away. The coast and the inland desert differ. Cloud is the average share of sky covered, not hours of sunshine. Other sites quote different numbers because they use different stations and years.
